Day 1 Mac Attack 1 - Activity 4: End-of-Day Reflection

Basically we have done some fun activities with our PSLs during our class time to get to know each other better. I've learned what our expected values of and the rules our teacher, Mdm Azizah, expects.

I chose to come SST because "I love science and technology. Science and maths are my best and favorite subject. MacBook! It is very unique and special to be an apple school. =) with more hands on works rather than boring textbooks. Text after text. I am sure I am going to have a wonderful time in SST."(Copied and paste from my 1st post)

I think I am going to choose Robotics and Media as CCA and represent SST and make SST proud.

Wishes on the Wall

Wall Wisher has useful features such as allowing anyone to post a sticky on the wall, prevent spammers as it allows you to type a certain amount of words in a sticky, which is a limitation. Also we could insert links ant attachments to our stickies, able to embed it to any web and we can create our own wall.

Wall Wisher could be used in learning activities. Example: If there's some question to discuss about, we could not discuss all in call as there will be not enough time for us to do other things. While we can post the questions on Wall Wisher and answer them at home or any other free time.

YouTube

My favorite online application is YouTube. We could find tutorials, entertainments and a lot other videos. You can find files or stuffs very easy on YouTube. Example: You want 'File X'. So you search it on Google or other search engines. They may give you none or tons of links. and among the links, some may contain virus or give you invalid links. While YouTube, there will be video to guide your steps, they will provide working links and if not, you still can comment on the video or PM the uploader to change the link. With video as guide, it will be much easier to understand then in words. Just like the SST Students blog activities. They use YouTube tutorials to teach us how to use Google Maps and more.

Experience about creating this blog

Well, it is easier than I thought. Although this is my 1st time using blogger.

I think that blogger could help me in my learning experience in SST as I could just post my works or projects on this blogger and can easily share thing through blogger.

Feeling about being accepted by SST

Obviously I am very happy and excited about entering SST as SST was my favorite school and two of my good friends are entering with me too. why is it my favorite school? It's simple: I love science and technology. Science and maths are my best and favorite subject. MacBook! It is very unique and special to be an apple school. =) with more hands on works rather than boring textbooks. Text after text. I am sure I am going to have a wonderful time in SST.

Why i chose this picture i made? Well it is because that it is like a transfer, from primary school to secondary school. That acer axpire x3950 was my computer i just bought in oct 2010. actually, not bought. cause i bought a computer at march and it broke down in oct. then they gave me a new one as it is still under warranty. so back to the 'why'. so that was my primary school use or must as well my gaming computer. now as i move to SST, its is like moving from my computer to my 'Learning Device'. 'Learning Device' to me is new and a bit strange and hard, which i think this is what i will experience in SST, homeworks are harder(maybe) and new to the environment.

English is never my best subject. So sorry for my bad English. =)
